Howard Thom
I am a Lecturer in Health Economics at the University of Bristol. I work in health economic cost-effectiveness modelling and evidence synthesis and am involved in a number of applied and methodological research projects. My methodological interests include extensions of network meta-analysis, matching adjusted indirect comparison, structural uncertainty in cost-effectiveness models, and value of information analysis for trial design. My applied research covers the areas of atrial fibrillation, multiple sclerosis, psoriatic arthritis, depression, and hip replacement surgery.
